Campbell Mattinson– “It combines florals and woodsy spice characters to good effect, red cherry and plum jam flavours driving the palate. It’s well shaped, flavoured and styled; it’s one of those wines where you find yourself drinking in the aromas over and over. It’s a lovely wine, and well-priced too.”

Toni Paterson – “This wine has a really beautiful fragrance. Elements of musk, pink peppercorn, raspberries and spice. Lovely palate weight with a black pepper thread and a shadow of oak.”

Description

Anderson Hill is a James Halliday Five Star Australian family-run winery based in Lenswood, a subregion in Adelaide Hills, South Australia.

We are passionate about sharing our love for the region, the land, and the sustainable lifestyle we have here.

Ben Anderson hand planted the vines in 1994. Since then, he and his wife Clare have worked together to build Anderson Hill – from managing our vineyard, which is one of the highest vineyards in South Australia, to making the graceful wines, designing the artistic labels, and running our popular cellar and restaurant right next to the vineyard. We do all this with one goal in our mind: to make the wines we can proudly share with our friends and families.
