(ENG) This wine is made more in a Sancerre style. It has the fresh from the garden green salad nose with asparagus and gooseberry but a gentle and textural palate. It has lovely length and crisp acidity but is not as confronting as styles from across the ditch. The grapes were crushed first to allow juice skin contact before pressing, the juice was then fermented cool in barrel. This leads to a wine that grows in the glass rather than shouts.

The 19-hectare vineyard produces eight variety of grapes, which includes Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Tempranillo and Muscat. Mantons Creek Estate is known for offering a difference to traditional cool climate wines with our unique blends and variety of wines.
