(ENG) Our 2017 Pinot Grigio fruit was sourced from the subregion of the Kuitpo in the southern Adelaide Hills. At 320 metres altitude, this vineyard produces grapes with purity, complexity and superb natural acidity.
Made in a Northern Italian Grigio style. Picked early in the season, and fermented cool without the use of oak to capture the vibrancy of the fruit and natural, crunchy acidity. A fresh, aromatic style with pears, red delicious apples, lime and floral notes. A linear acid structure provides a crisp, fresh, summery finish.
Main & Cherry is a family owned winery in the Adelaide Hills dedicated to creating small-batch wines. Together with our estate vineyards at Cherry Gardens and Clarendon, we also source grapes from passionate growers in other parts of the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. All of our wines begin from the soil up, where nature handles the big things and we gently guide along the rest.
