Leone 2019 Rosato Barossa Valley

Colour: Very pretty pale coral pink.
Aroma: Fresh aromatic and fruity with guava, lemon, red currant and florals.
Palate: Crisp, lively palate with exuberant and zesty flavours of cranberries and
citrus. Savoury and dry, deliciously moreish and refreshing.
Serve Chilled, enjoy with family and friends, for pizza night or casual barbeques.
Cellaring A fresh wine style, best consumed when young.
Vineyard Notes: The Leone Rosato is a blend of three varieties from our Rowland Flat
vineyard. Predominately from vines planted in 2005 with the Shiraz
portion from vines planted in 1995. All vines are on sandy soils and single
wire trellis
Winemaking Notes: Deliberately picked early with moderate sweetness levels to ensure bright
fresh flavours. Skin contact to impart phenolic texture and colour is part
of this dry style of wine, which also adds a savoury element. Fermented in stainless steel and old oak, we have selected a yeast noted for enhancing mouthfeel.
