Colour: Pale lemon.
Aroma: Intensely varietal with Nashi pear and Red Delicious apple .
Palate: Pear and apple flavours with citrus acidity and chalky texture which
typifies this variety. The finish is dry and crisp in the traditional Pinot
Grigio style.
Serve: Chilled. Enjoy with friends and family on pasta nights or weekend
picnics. A satisfying wine with or without food.
Cellaring: A fresh wine style best consumed when young.
Vineyard Notes: The fruit for the Leone Pinot Grigio comes from a 1.2 hectare block on our Rowland Flat vineyard. The vines were planted in 2005 in sandy soil on a single wire trellis.
Winemaking Notes: The grapes are monitored closely for flavour development during vintage prior to picking to capture freshness and vibrancy without excessive sugar assimilation to ensure that the final wine is lively and crisp. Fermented entirely in stainless steel with a yeast selected for its ability to enhance fruit aromas.

The beautiful winery is also home to vines dating back to 1897, we are privileged to be custodians of four centenarian old vine blocks in Southern Barossa Valley. Our dedication to vineyard management is carried through from barrel to bottle. We believe are wines are best enjoyed over a delicious meal, sharing amongst family and friends.
